Julia August first wrote and published award-winning poetry as a teenager. In her twenties she wrote greeting cards for a major Christian distributor. Currently, she is doing freelance work for a well-known Christian teen girl's magazine.

Julia's first book, myBible: Standing on the Promises was released in 2007. Gathering life-pertinent Scriptures and translating them all into the first person, she categorized each inspirational verse by topic for easy reference and personal study.
